The regular season runs from around September to early July. Although we usually keep up the training in the off season and enter some summer sprint regattas. The squad trains together for weights, ergo and gym as well as water sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning.

We welcome experienced rowers looking for regular training and competition in a great location in London. While being competitive and training hard, the squad maintains a welcoming, friendly and supportive atmosphere where training is important, but so is life outside the club.

The squad is focused each year is on the big head races and regattas, including of course Henley Women's. They are continually building each year on past successes.  If you're looking for a new club and are keen on racing, then they would love to hear from you.

The programme is based on 6-9 sessions, 6 or 7 days per week. This includes weights, ergometer, some cross training and of course water sessions. There are regular tests conducted throughout the season to assist in selecting crews and so you can measure your progress.

The club invests in fleet upgrades and recently bought many new boats including 8+, 4+, 4x- and 2x-. Our top boats are built by Hudson, Stampfli and Wintech.

Training Camps

Want a week in the sun, rowing on a stretch of water that is perfect for rowing, with an amazing group of friends and allies? Each year the squad holds a training camp, usually somewhere between April and June. For the last few years this has been at the international regatta centre in Plovdiv Bulgaria.
